Inspection of all accessible major air conditioning components, refrigerant level check, visual inspection for leaks. After the initial inspection if any obvious leaks are found they will have to be repaired before any further work can be carried out. You will be provided with a report and quotation on what repairs need to be carried out if any. Leak testing is done using the latest equipment, pressurised nitrogen, electronic leak detector, vacuum test and the use of ultra-violet tracer dye.
Once the initial inspection, diagnosis and pressure/leak test have been carried out and the a/c system is deemed fit for regas, the system will be recovered of any existing refrigerant, put under vacuum and recharged with new R134a, UV Dye and compressor oil.
Mould, mildew and bacteria build up on the evaporator core, this is then circulated through-out the cabin when the air conditioning is turned on, often causing an unpleasant odour.
